Jordan Harbinger is a Wall Street lawyer turned podcast interviewer with an approachable style and a knack for interviewing high-profile guests. His show, The Jordan Harbinger Show was selected as part of Apple’s “Best Podcast of 2018”
It has stories, secrets, and skills of the world’s most brilliant and interesting people. Jordan came to us because his previous website didn’t live up to the incredible reputation that his podcast has. It was time to take his brand and website to the next level.
Despite Jordans impressive accomplishments – including millions of monthly podcast downloads and recognition as one of Apple’s top 10 podcasts – his website failed to showcase any of his impressive achievements. Despite the quality of his podcast, a redesign was necessary if Jordan wanted to be perceived as a leader in the industry.
Jordan has interviewed some renowned guests on his podcast. However, his previous website looked amateur and didn’t reflect the success and prestige of his podcast, despite having such notable guests.
We had a strategy call with Jordan & Jen to discuss their issues with the previous website. Jordan wasn’t sure how he wanted the new website to look, so we created a mood board first, which showed the direction for the website, including the color palette, the fonts, the photography direction, the visual graphic layouts, etc. before we started designing the website.
Once Jordan approved the direction, we designed his new website that highlights Jordan’s authority by prominently displaying his impressive millions of monthly podcast downloads and recognition as one of Apple’s top 10 podcasts. The website also features professional photos and a custom, pro-level design.
The main call-to-action made it easy for visitors to navigate to the topic categories they were interested in. In addition, we added an exit pop-up to offer Jordan’s free networking course to build his email list. The website now has a consistent look and feel across all pages and we put a lot of effort into the Sponsorship page. Check it out!
We also added Jordan’s handwritten notes with a touch of sarcasm that reflects Jordan’s personality =)
